Baby Hair

So #3 is old enough to finally put her hair in piggies!!!! Wahoo! I decided to try 3 pull-throughs on the top and then scrunch the back of her hair and tease it a little. She was definitely a wiggle worm and would turn her head when I didn't want her too and pull at her hair and grab the combs and mess it up but now I've been doing this for a couple weeks and she does great. I think I might use some shows on my kindle for her to watch while I do it. My sister-in-law taught me that trick :) By the way, if you can't tell- she wouldn't hold her head still long enough for me to snap a good picture.

#1 Section off 3 squares. Mine were on the diagonal.

#2 Use your topsy tail to make your pull throughs.

#3 Add a little mouse and a couple sprays of water.

#4 Tease hair and spray with hairspray.#5 Voila.....one cute little piggie!

St. Patrick's Day Hair

This hairdo took about 15 minutes. #1 actually made the hairtie that we used for it. It turned out so cute I think. It is just a rubber band with torn pieces of different color materials tied in knots around it. We also added in some ribbon.

#1 Divide hair ear to ear.

#2 Pull lower part of hair in clip or ponytail to be out of way.

#3 Divide top hair into 3 sections

#4 Comb each section into a ponytail. Use your topsy tail and this time have the end pointing towards their face so the hair will be going out by their face. You want it to be upside down.#5 Split first section into 2 pieces and twist going in opposite directions. The right piece going clockwise and the left piece going counter-clock wise.#6 Shape into a heart and clip off.

#7 Repeat step 6 for all 3 sections.#8 Pull lower sections into a high ponytail. Add 3 hearts into ponytail with a clear elastic.
#9 Scrunch up hair towards middle and wrap cloth hairtie around it. Tuck in any pieces you don't want sticking out. Tease the parts you want. Spray with hairspray.#10 Voila....one cute little piggie!

3 pull throughs

This hairdo takes about 5-10 minutes. It is really easy. I have never used a small crimper before, so that was fun. #1 loved it.

#1 Part hair on side.

#2 Section off square on top of head.

#3 Divide into 3 diagonal sections.

#4 Tie off each section with an elastic#5 Use your topsy tail and stick the end in behind the elastic. Add hair up into topsy tail and pull through and tug on hair to make sure it is nice and tight.#6 Repeat for all 3 sections#7 You can either leave it how it is or keep going. I kept going of course! If you have a small crimper, here is where you are going to use it.#8 Crimp small sections of the top layer of her head. I don't do the whole thing because that would take forever and I think they look like poodles with fuzzy hair if you do the whole head with a small crimper, but that is just me.#9 Voila....one cute little piggie!

Topsy tail pony tail

This was a quick 5 minute hairdo. We were in a hurry for church.

#1 Grab bangs into a square section on top of head. Use a topsy tail or your fingers and flip hair through around the top, over and around facing the back of their head.#2 Combine all hair into a high ponytail.#3 Grab a piece of hair about 1/2" and wrap it around ponytail.
#4 Use a clear elastic and tie around and cover elastic with hair. Add a bobby pin if necessary.#5 Curl hair with curling iron.#6 Tease hair, spray generously with hairspray, add a bow and voila.....one cute little piggie!
