Braided head band

This is always an easy way to keep back the bangs. It took 15 minutes.

#1 Section off hair ear to ear
#2 Pull low hair out of way into ponytail.

#3 Comb hair over to the side.

#4 Begin French braiding but I did it Dutch style so it is an outy braid. You will grab the hair right UNDER the middle, left UNDER the middle.
#5 Finish out braid.
#6 Have daughter hold hair up and attach braid with a clear elastic to another small piece of hair at the base of their neck. I also added a bobby pin for extra support.
#7 Either leave the hair down and straight or curl it.

#8 Add a fun headband or just leave it as is and voila.....one cute little piggie!

3 pull throughs

This hairdo takes about 5-10 minutes. It is really easy. I have never used a small crimper before, so that was fun. #1 loved it.

#1 Part hair on side.

#2 Section off square on top of head.

#3 Divide into 3 diagonal sections.

#4 Tie off each section with an elastic#5 Use your topsy tail and stick the end in behind the elastic. Add hair up into topsy tail and pull through and tug on hair to make sure it is nice and tight.#6 Repeat for all 3 sections#7 You can either leave it how it is or keep going. I kept going of course! If you have a small crimper, here is where you are going to use it.#8 Crimp small sections of the top layer of her head. I don't do the whole thing because that would take forever and I think they look like poodles with fuzzy hair if you do the whole head with a small crimper, but that is just me.#9 Voila....one cute little piggie!

3 braided bangs

This is a fun way to keep your little one's bangs back. This took about 10 minutes.

#1 Part hair on side.

#2 Section off a big square on top of her head. Put rest of hair back in clip to keep away.

#3 Divide the square into 3 equal sections running horizontal on her head.

#4 Braid the first section really tight and close to head. Tie off with an elastic.#5 Braid 2nd section same as first.#6 Braid last section same as first. You should now have 3 equal small braids.#7 Curl hair and tease. Spray with hairspray.#8 Add a bow if you want and voila....one cute little piggie!

Twisted bangs

This is a simple way to keep your daughter's bangs back if you are trying to grow them out. It took 5 minutes.

#1 Curl hair under with curling iron.

#2 Grab a square section of bangs and divide it into 2 pieces.

#3 Twist to the right and then twist the right piece over the left piece.

#4 Secure with bobby pins in a criss-cross or with a clip.

#5 Add a bow and voila.....one cute little piggie!

Puff Braided Bangs Ponytail

So this hairdo took 10-15 minutes. It is really easy, so anyone can do this.

#1 Part hair, ear to ear and pull back part into a low pony to get out of way or in a clip.#2 Comb hair from the left side over to the right side.

#3 Section off a square on the left side and tie off with an elastic.#4 I alternated colored elastics. Section off the next square and add the hair from the first square into the second.

#5 Section off next square and add hair from previous section and tie off with elastic. Keep repeating process until you've run out of hair on the side. It took me 5 sections.
#6 Comb hair that was out of the way into a high side ponytail adding in the hair from the bangs.
#7 Curl hair and tease and spray with hairspray.#8 Add a bow and voila.....one cute little piggie!

Chained Bangs & Curls

So this was a fun way to keep her bangs back. This hairdo takes about 20 minutes.

#1 Section off a square in the top middle of head.
#2 Pull hair back in clip/claw/ponytail to keep out of the way. You will just be working on the middle section first.

#3 Use comb to section of the first square out of the middle section. Split it down the middle and tie like you would your shoe laces.#4 Have daughter hold pieces while you grab the next squared off section. Split it down the middle again and this time grab the right piece from daughter and add to your right piece and the left piece to your left piece. Tie like a shoe lace again.
#5 Move on to the last section adding the hair and tying like a shoe lace. This time add a clear elastic. You should now have a chain of 3.#6 Section off another section to the left of the middle section. Repeat steps 3-5#7 Section off another section to the right of the middle section. Repeat steps 3-5
#8 Curl hair all over#9 Tease hair#10 Spray with hairspray and add little clippies if you want and voila....one cute little piggie!

Fishtail

So this is always fun. I tried doing the fishtail french braid starting in the middle of her hair but her bangs kept slipping out and I didn't like it. So I just did a topsy tail hair flip to keep her bangs back and pulled the hair to the side in a pony tail and fishtailed the ponytail. If your daughter's hair is long, then the fishtail french braid would totally work and look adorable.
#1 So I stopped right there and took it out and started over. If your daughter has bangs, section off a square in the front and tie off with an elastic. Use your topsy tail or just part in middle and flip underneath towards the back of head or direction of the ponytail.#2 Spray hair with water and pull in low side ponytail.#3 Begin fishtailing by splitting hair in two pieces instead of 3 for a standard braid.#4 Add a small piece from the right and cross over the front to the left. Grab piece in left hand and you should still only be holding two pieces of hair.

#5 Next, add a small piece from the left side and cross over the front to the right.

#6 Keep repeating this process until you get to the bottom and tie off with an elastic.
#7 Add a bow and voila.....one cute little piggie!
