1/2 french braid 1/2 pony

#1 Wet hair and comb to side.

#2  Begin French braiding to the diaganol

#3  French braid all hair until to the base of head.

#4  Tie off with a pony tail.  I wish I would have done it more on the diagonal so that the ponytail was more on the right side of her head but o-well.

#5  Curl hair and tease.  Spray with hairspray.

#6  Add bow and voila....one cute little piggie!

Twisted bangs and ponytail

This was a fun hairdo. It took 15-20 minutes. #1 thought it looked pretty cool.

#1 Part hair on side.

#2 Start by using your comb and grabbing a small square section of hair on the vertical. Does that make sense. You don't have to have it diagonal but I like to.

#3 With the first squared off section, comb it straight up and then twist to the right until you come down to the head.#4 Put a bobby pin by having the straight part on the left side of her head and the bumpy part on the right. Push bobby pin through twist until it stays nice and snug.
#5 Continue this process all the way to the other side of head. I then went back to the part and did two more sections on the left so her whole top part of head had twists.

#6 Put lower hair in a side ponytail.#7 Add twisted hair to the ponytail.#8 Divide ponytail into 2 sections.

#9 Divide section into 2 pieces and twist to the right and do a corkscrew twist braid.

#10 Repeat for the other section.#11 Fold twisted braids up and secure and tie off with a clear elastic. Tease ends and spray with hairspray.#12 Add a bow or headband and voila....one cute little piggie!

Twist side ponytail

This is one of my favorite ways to do hair. It is so simple. You can either leave it in a ponytail or do a side messy bun. I do this all the time. It takes 5 minutes.

#1 Begin by parting hair to the side.

#2 Grab bangs, if your daughter needs them pulled back, and seperate them into two pieces.
#3 Begin by twisting the right over the left. Now you will only be adding hair to the bottom pieces.#4. Keep twisting right over the left and then add to the bottom piece. Twist. Add to the bottom piece. Twist.
#5 Keep repeating step #4.#6 When you get to the other side of her head. Tie off with an elastic behind the ear.#7 Now you can either add a bow, headband or keep going and do a side messy bun. I just left it down and added a headband today.#8 Voila....one cute little piggie!

Upside down French braided Piggies

This was a fun hairdo. It took about 15 minutes. A fun twist on a regular ponytail.

#1 Divide hair into fourths. Hair split down the middle, clear until the nape of the neck. Then Section off two sections on the top of the hair and two on the bottom. You will be French braiding upside down.

#2 Have daughter sit in chair, with her head flipped upside down. Work on right bottom section (or your left). Begin French braiding standard style clear up until you run out of hair. Tie off with an elastic.
#3 Repeat the same thing on the bottom left section. Tie off with an elastic into a ponytail. You should now have two high ponytails.#4 Undo the clip or ponytail used to hold hair away on the top right section and begin French braiding until you get to the ponytail and tie off with another elastic. Now both ponytails should be combined.
#5 Repeat step #4 for the top left section.#6 Curl hair#7 Spray hair generously with hairspray. Add some cute ribbons and voila.....one cute little piggie!

Topsy tail pony tail

This was a quick 5 minute hairdo. We were in a hurry for church.

#1 Grab bangs into a square section on top of head. Use a topsy tail or your fingers and flip hair through around the top, over and around facing the back of their head.#2 Combine all hair into a high ponytail.#3 Grab a piece of hair about 1/2" and wrap it around ponytail.
#4 Use a clear elastic and tie around and cover elastic with hair. Add a bobby pin if necessary.#5 Curl hair with curling iron.#6 Tease hair, spray generously with hairspray, add a bow and voila.....one cute little piggie!
