This was how I did her hair for a dance performance one night. It takes about 20 minutes.
#1 Divide hair from ear to ear. Pull lower hair section into a ponytail, while working with the top section.

#2 You will be making 8 square sections. So begin by dividing the top hair into two sections horizontally. Tie off the back section and divide the front section into 4 squares. I split mine down the middle and then do two on one side and two on the other side.

#3 Do the same thing to the other sections. Make 4 square right behind the ones you already made. Tie off each square with an elastic. You should now have 8 squares all lined up.

#4 Begin by dividing the first two sections into 2 pieces. Bring the left piece of the right section over to the left square diagonally behind to it.

#5 Now add the right piece of the left section over to the right square diagonally behind it. You should have made your first criss-cross.

#6 Next criss-cross the other sections. If you need help, look at this link to explain
here.

#7 Add all hair into a high ponytail.

#8 Curl hair.
#9 Fold hair over the ponytail so it looks like a circle and tie a clear elastic around it. Bobby pin pieces to the head or use small clippies.

#10 Add a bow and voila....one cute little piggie!
