My first children's book

I finished my first children's book and decided I want to do something with it. It is the cutest idea and I know it would make a great book but the only thing is that now I have to research for children's book agents and publishers and write a query and do the whole thing all over again. It is kind of overwhelming but I want to try. Anyways maybe if I get my foot in the door this way, eventually I will work on my Young Adult book and finish it off and re-submit it. I do love to write. I wish I had more time to put into it.
